Privacy Statement

When does this privacy statement apply?

This privacy policy applies to your use of TechCaliber, LLC’s (“TC2”) web site (www.techcaliber.com) and your clicking on the link to TC2’s website from TC2’s marketing emails. It does not apply to information obtained by TC2’s Consultants, staff or other employees or agents through personal contact or one-on-one communications.  It also does not apply to emails sent by you to individual attorneys, legal assistants or other employees or agents of TC2, even if you obtain their contact information from the web site.

What information do we collect, and how do we use it?

TC2 collects no personally identifying information (such as name, title, physical address, telephone number, and email address)  about you as you visit www.techcaliber.com, except when specifically and knowingly provided by you (e.g., when you ask to have information sent to you).

Any information provided by you is used solely for the purposes disclosed in this privacy statement or on the page(s) of the web site where information is requested, unless you agree in advance to additional uses.

We use the names, email addresses and names of the organizations of site visitors (when we collect the information) to contact you to improve the site’s contents, enhance TC2’s services generally, or add your name to our contact database (e.g., for newsletter distribution, event announcements and informational emails).  Your submission of any such information is purely optional, although access to certain restricted pages on our web site may require you to register by inputting credentials that identify you.  When we participate in or organize events (such as educational seminars), we may share names, email addresses, names of organizations, and titles obtained from our web site with our third-party event planners or with service providers we use to send out announcements, register participants or collect feedback about such events.

Except as described in this privacy statement, TC2 does not share with third parties (other than its affiliate, Levine, Blaszak, Block & Boothby, LLP (“LB3”)) any personal information we obtain from you via our web site.  And LB3’s use of such personal information will also comply with this privacy statement.

We would like you to know that we use standard commercially available third-party web site analytics tools to collect anonymous data about visitors to our web site and then aggregate that data to analyze web site traffic. We do not use this information to personally identify you.  Web analytic tools often track IP addresses and install cookies to measure user interactions.  If you find this objectionable, you may be able to set your browser to block these cookies and disable tracking features typically used by third-party web site analytic services (see, e.g., http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

How can you opt out of our mailing lists?

You may request at any time that you be removed from any or all lists on which you previously asked to be included by sending an email to info@techcaliber.com with “remove me” or something similar in the subject line.

How are changes to the privacy statement made?

TC2 reserves the right to change this policy at any time without advance notice. If we do change our policy, the new policy will not go into effect until it is posted here. We also reserve the right to add features designed to obtain consumer information. If we do decide to add any such features, we will mark them and explain the nature and potential use of the data collected.

Please also see our Disclaimer.
